more frustration and irritated with life

ugh  i am kinda pissed. greg had gone up to the apartment to finish the cleaning with everyone and i stayed here to watch the kids. he tells me the kids got birthday cards from my family...and he opensa them and uses the money towards dinner for tonight. i dont have a problem that he used it for dinner, but i do have a problem witht eh face the kiuds didnt get to open their cards and see what was sent to let them knoew that others are thinking of them on their birthday. that part pissed me offf. and i yelled at him about it when he came back from the store and told him hes giving them their money back on payday and how would he feel if i had opened his card and took his birthday money without telling him about it?  its a morality issue i have with this.  this part of the reason i kept the mail box key with me(and also iw as the one home most of the time.).  that kinda pissed me off today.
 that and the fact that since we have been here i have been the only one working to get our space organized. he doesnt even try to help me,  this happened last time too when we lived here. i know he wants to spend time with everyone but your own responsibilities come first.  if i hadnt moved we wouldnt have a po box, or an interview set up for the foodshare and state insurance here in wisconsin(got a phone appt set up for the 11th). its just frustrating cause it makes me feel like he doesnt care enough to get things moving.  he says he doesnt want to be here very long but the way this week has gone, we will be.  im stuck with the kids while he  disappears to the living room with everyone, and when i ask for help with stuff i get an evil look. im like look, its not just my stuff its yours too.  and every time i bring it up i get this look like i dont have a right to be upset.  im kinda getting fed up with it cause he will help everyone else when they aqsk but when i ask for help iuts like no i dont want to. just really frustrating and irritating. i never get to do anything i want but heaven forbid gregs plans fall through. like i was suposed to go see toby keith with a few friends but i cant go cause theres not enough gas because he planned to go do video comentary with matt for NEW tomorrow. so once again im screwed a night out i badly need.  the last time i went out was a few months ago and even then i got an attitude from him about it cause i was leaving him with the kids for a few hours.

and to anyone who says i dont have a right to feel how i feel you can kiss my ass. cause i am tired of feling like my needs arent important or what i have to say doesnt matter. and every time it ry to talk asbout what im feeling he just turns the other way. and then wonders why i dont want to have any 'alone time' after hte kids are in bed.  im sorry but while we are here my kids money will stay their money and like anyone else ppl need to ask if they can borrow it for something. heh. i feel a bit better now.  still being ignored cause hed rather be with everyone else doing what he wants to do instead of on his computer filling out job apps to get us out of here faster but who am i to say so?

Hi all.  I haven't really been online over the past few days to beable to post heh. Sunday was spent moving things out of the apartment and loading up the truck, taking things to storage, and getting things into our spaces in heather and cole's house.  slowly getting mine and gregs space done, getting gabriel's space in Joree's room done(I need to go up in a bit and put his clothes away)we have our tv and game systems set up though I am missing my wii games case(I had bought a dollar store cd case to hold all my wii games for easier access and it seems to have disappeared. hopefully they turn up cause those games weren't cheap.) 

Right now I am taking a break and relaxing a bit. Been going through stuff and trying to find a place for it all day, and dealing with cranky children(gabriel mostly).  Sean has been happily playing in his playpen and watchng movies on dvd and netflix.  Im proud of him.  He has been a very good baby through this whole move.  

Tomorrow's agenda..fill out food card/insurance application, and in the evening we go to the school for a bit to meet gabe's school fro open house to meet his teacher and such. going with miriah either friday or saturday to get supplies(john said hed help cause we had to pay bills and help with the move and we have no money left).  one more week :P cant wait. all kids except sean will be gone all day :P

packing and cleaning :/

Hi everyone. Well as the title says...today was a packing and cleaning day.  I had to take Gabriel in to the dentist for his last set of fillings(The school district hooked me up with a dentist who was willing to do Gabe's work and exam for free cause he needed it done for school and we don't have insurance), then went and got some food for lunch...today's menu was Sonic, since their kids meals were on special for $1.99(trying not to dirty up the kitchen  too much more since we have to start packing it up soon here), then came back home.  Greg got into our room and finished the main part, and says i get the closet since most of my stuff has taken it over :) lol huge walk in closet and I pretty much owned it this year lmfao.  I got into the kids' room and started organizing their toys. Got their stuff down to a small storage bin of toys and one big bin of tows for each kid that they still play with(one for little things and one for their bigger stuff). Will finish their room tomorrow since we dont have a lamp in there...never got around to buying one and the closet light isnt bright enough for cleaning.  Then we have the living room to clean, dining room and kitchen. should bring us right up on Friday afternoon and supposedly when ComED is going to be disconnecting our electricity cause of a back balance.  I never got statements mailed or from e mail for the past 2 months so they did one reinstatement on the payment plan but i missed this month cause i didnt get a bill so they wont help me with that again :(.  

I did get some good news today though.  I had gone to Jewel to get cat litter for our cat Vinny cause we ran out.  I had a bunch of change I needed to cash in so I used the TCF bank counter.  And I told them I used to have an account but that it was closed due to a negative balance and not making a deposit in awhile.  So they looked it up and they said if I come in on payday an open up a new account the balance on my previous account will be completely wiped out. No longer on my credit report or anything.  I was like sweet.  They apparently just changed over their checking account to completely free...no monthly fee, minimum balance, etc.  and they got rid of the stupid $28 per day overdraft fee after going negative too. now it is just per transaction($37).  25 bucks to open a new account and I get  the balance from my old one wiped out.  Im not gonna argue with that. One less debt I have to pay at tax time next year.  

My mom wants me to come see her friday before we head up to Wisconsin.  I told her if I have the time I will try to.  She is my mother and I am not going to let anyone tell me how often I can see her...they better have papers ready saying i can't see her or the nursing home staff needs to say something cause otherwise I will go visit her whenever I like.  My uncle may have financial POA but he has no right to tell me I cant go see my mother.  She hasn't been the best, and I haven't been the best daughter, but we both have been trying to make efforts so the kids can know their grandma.  
Sigh. 8pm...kids room halfway done. Tomorrow will be going through their clothes and getting rid of what doesnt fit anymore and a trip to goodwill maybe to drop off a bunch of toys n stuff they dont need.  I forsee a no sleep day tomorrow since friday is it.  There better be a coke tap nearby lol ima need it.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. Beyond frustrated with some things right now

Good afternoon :P Tuesday....one more day closer to friday and a weekend of moving insanity.  And more family drama.  At the end of July/beginning of August, two of my Uncles had taken my mother into the er on advice from her doctor. She wasn't taking care of herself. Not cleaning her apartment(I went in and cleaned out her fridge and freezer and she had old food from 2 years ago, not cleaning the bathroom, or other general house upkeep) wasn't showering, etc.  She was at the mental health center at the local hospital for a couple weeks, and during that time my one uncle decided he was going to get financial power of attorney papers drawn up because he felt that my mother was not making good financial decisions. Granted, she wasn't, but she was of sound mind and aware of what she was doing.  She took out about 5 or 6 payday loans that she was having a hard time repaying.  I didn't find out he had these papers ready until we all had a family meeting at the hospital for my mom.  She signed the papers, and he now has control of her financial activities.  Since he gained the POA, he thinks he has control over everything.  I went to the new place mymom was transferred to yesterday and took her out for a bit to lunch, and we were gone for about 2 hours.  I later get a call from this uncle asking where i took my mom. so I tell him. We went to Arbys and then to Jewel for a minute cause mom wanted a couple more snacks.  He flat out called me a liar, saying thats not what happened. Then he had the nerve to tell me I can only go see my mother once a week, when he has no authority to make such demands. After he said all this, i promptly hung up on him.  He is not payng my moms bills, he closed her checking account, which she had been paying the payday loans out of and opened another one(is not paying the loans and one company is calling me looking for a payment that was due recently), and is saying he is going to stop her credit card(and im assuming the way he has not been paying things besides her rent and electric is not going to pay the balance due on it).  He took her cable and internet out of her home(she is at a nursing/rehab center for now but not forever she will be returning home on the near future), and took back a van that my mom had helped us sign for BEFORE he had the POA signed by her.  I am currently int he process of talking to a family lawyer and seeing how I can have his powers limited, because my mother is on Social Security and Disability, and I have no idea what he is using her money for as he is not paying her bills.

Sorry to be posting all this here, but I feel a bit better about writing it out and I welcome any advice on this issue.  

I get to deal with all this, plus a state relocation coming up this weekend, and getting my son Gabriel ready for first grade.  Here's to hoping things get better, my husband and I find a place in Wisconsin before too long, and i don't rip my uncle a new a**hole.  Its only 12:30pm and I want a strong drink, lol.  Ugh.

Gabriel is now 6 years old.  He has gone from a cute baby boy to a very handsome young man.  He loves power rangers, sonic the hedge hog, super mario brothers, playing video games on the wii, and talking. I think the only time he doesn't talk is when he is sleeping :P  He is going to be in first grade in the fall at Brookwood Elementary in Genoa City, WI.

Sean is just about 3 years old.  He is still learning about the world and what things are and what they do.  We are working on talking and potty training.  Sean loves elmo, mario brothers, power rangers, and watching his brother play video games

first blog, round 1!

Hi everyone.  Let's see. As the title says, this is my first blog.  So I guess I will start by telling you all a bit more about me.  My name is Regina.  I just turned 30 at the end of May.  I am the mother of two wonderful(most of the time)  little boys aged 6 and a soon to be 3 year old.  I have been married to my husband and best friend for 6 years(though we have known each other since high school).  I am a stay at home mom currently, and am going to school for early childhood education.  In my free time(usually a few hours each night after the kids go to bed...haha) I like to watch tv (some of my favorite shows are trueblood, grimm, supernatural, switched at birth, bones, friends[an oldie but goody:P]), read(i love fantasy books, and i am anxiously awaiting the print copy release of The Sweet Life....Sweet Valley High characters leading their adult lives).  

There is a lot going on in our lives at the moment.  We are relocating to Wisconsin.  This is the biggest one.  We are currently living in Arlington Heights, IL(for the next week anyhow). The cost of things out here just keep going up, with no relief in sight.  There is no government help for families who are working hard to try to help themselves.  WE feel a fresh start in Wisconsin is in order, because the only people we know there are my husband's family, whom we will be staying with until we find a place out there either in Genoa City or Lake Geneva.

The next milestone would be my oldest starting first grade this fall.  It seems like it was only yesterday I was walking him down the street to Ivy Hill for Kindegarten.  My baby is growing up so fast.  And my 3 year old will be starting preschool as soon as I can get him into a program there.  Again,it seems like yesterday that I was in the hospital having them(they are 3 years and 2 weeks apart) and both boys at their time would fall asleep in my chest after a bottle.  Now they are walking, talking, running, and destroying  :P They are my boys and I will always love them and be there for them.

I guess that's enough for the first post :) more to follow, as I also love to write.  Its easier this way though, because I dont have to keep track of an extra notebook haha.  Thanks for stopping by to check this out and have a great weekend.
